Carpinteria resident Wes Franken was an avid classic car enthusiast, both as a collector and a photographer. Wes’ favorite vehicle was his 1958 Willy’s Jeep, although he appreciated all classic cars, as evidenced by his car show photography. Wes was a Carpinteria Mason, a Volunteer Fireman, and worked at the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden at the time of his passing in May 2023.
